DCM Shriram has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with the Government of Gujarat to invest a proposed Rs 12,000 crore in manufacturing of chemical and petrochemicals products in Bharuch by 2028

The MoU was signed in a ceremony held at Gandhinagar on 03 January, 2023, in the presence of Chief Minister Bhupendrabhai Patel. The ceremony was part of Vibrant Gujarat Global Summit 2024 which will take place on 10-12th January 2024

DCM Shriram currently has significant chlor-alkali facilities in Bharuch and aims to augment existing capacities and add new products for portfolio expansion. In particular, DCM Shriram is expanding caustic soda capacity from 5,08,000 tpa to 8,13,000 tpa at Jhagadia in Bharuch

DCM Shriram is a diversified and an integrated business entity, with extensive and growing presence across the agri rural value chain and chlorovinyl industry. Moreover, the company's chloro-vinyl business has highly integrated operations and 225 MW captive power generation facilities
